Matcha Latte

 

Ever since my first sip of matcha, I have been obsessed! I love everything from matcha cookies, and matcha ice cream, to my favorite- matcha lattes! I enjoy matcha lattes hot or iced. Matcha Latte Recipe:

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon matcha

  • 1/4 cup hot water (not boiling)

  • 1/2 cup frothed hot or cold milk of your choice

  • vanilla syrup, maple syrup, or sweetener of your choice, optional

Instructions:

  1. Sift your matcha in a bowl

  2. Pour your hot water into your matcha and whisk with a matcha whisk or milk frother until it is foamy - about 20 seconds.

  3. Using a milk frother, froth your milk to the temperature you would like- hot or cold.

  4. optionally add sweetener to the bottom of your mug/glass and pour your matcha and frothed milk into the mug or over ice in a glass!

  5. Taste and enjoy!
